Youth Film Premiere

The public service announcements that our students at JKF, West Campus, and Luther Burbank created were premiered at the Crest Theater on May 25th. Congratulations to the students at West Campus for winning 1st place!!! Second place went to the Luther Burbank Students. Third place went to JFK! Special awards for creativity went to two individual entries from Luther Burbank. A special thank you to MONSTERZ Inc. dance crew for performing at the premiere.

Pacific Rim Festival

Our awesome volunteers helped us with our public outreach event at the annual Pacific Rim Festival on May 22. The event would not have been as successful without our volunteers! Thank you so much for all of your help! We even got on TV!

Passport to Summer!

On a rather atypical day for May (weather-wise), our volunteers along with ACT-UP attended the Passport to Summer event sponsored by Senator Darrell Steinberg, Assembly-member Roger Dickinson, and Council-member Rob Fong at Southside Park.

Kid's Day in the Park

As an effort to reach out to the community in Rancho Cordova about our program and cause; we attended the Kid's Day in the Park on April 30th. It was filled with lots of fun and laughter. Thanks to the West Campus students who came out and volunteered with us.
